This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and order issues are handled by Athana's Cakery
Custom Cake Orders
Many of our products are made to order or customized for each customer. Because of this, custom cakes and personalized baked goods are generally not eligible for return or refund once production has started.
This includes orders with custom flavors, colors, messages, names, dates, themes, designs, sizes, or decorations.
Cancellations
Cancellation requests must be submitted as soon as possible by contacting info@athanascakery.com.
- Orders canceled before production begins may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
- Orders canceled after production begins may not be eligible for a refund.
- Rush orders, same-day orders, and highly customized orders may be non-refundable once accepted.
Changes to Orders
Order changes are subject to availability and production timing. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee updates after an order has been confirmed.
Changes may result in additional charges.
Returns
For food safety reasons, we do not accept returns of cakes, baked goods, or perishable food items.
Refunds for Store Error
If we make a significant error with your order, please contact us promptly at info@athanascakery.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos where applicable.
We may offer a refund, partial refund, replacement, or store credit depending on the situation.
Customer Error
We are not responsible for issues caused by incorrect information submitted by the customer, including wrong spelling, incorrect dates, incorrect delivery addresses, wrong product selection, missed pickup times, or design instructions entered incorrectly.
Damage After Pickup or Delivery
Once an order has been picked up or successfully delivered, responsibility for proper handling, storage, and transportation transfers to the customer.
We are not responsible for damage caused by improper handling, heat exposure, refrigeration issues, transportation, or delays after pickup or delivery.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
