Hi, my name is Athana
Owner and founder of Athana’s Cakery Established in 2018. Athana’s Cakery was created from a love for both caring for people and creating meaningful experiences they would never forget. Alongside my career in labor and delivery nursing, where I had the privilege of being part of one of life’s most beautiful moments — welcoming new life into the world — baking became my creative outlet and another way for me to bring joy to others.
What started as making custom cakes for family, friends, and special occasions quickly turned into something much deeper. From weddings and baby showers to birthdays and milestone celebrations, I fell in love with creating desserts that became a part of people’s memories. Over time, my clients continuously told me the same thing — the cakes didn’t just look beautiful, they tasted unforgettable.

Inspired by my father’s entrepreneurial spirit and the legacy of hard work he left behind, his passing pushed me to think bigger. I wanted to build something meaningful that would continue his legacy through me — something rooted in faith, passion, purpose, and family. Athana’s Cakery was built with the vision of creating desserts that not only look luxurious, but leave a lasting impression from the very first bite.
At Athana’s Cakery, flavor and moistness are non-negotiable. Every recipe is carefully perfected down to a science to create the ideal balance of sweetness, texture, richness, and flavor in every bite. I believe dessert should be more than something you simply eat — it should be an experience people crave, remember, and talk about long after the celebration is over.
As the vision continued to grow, I realized I wanted to create something that could reach beyond custom cakes and be shared with people everywhere. That’s when I invited my best friend Tuwana to join me in this next chapter of Athana’s Cakery. Together, we are building the future of our brand through our luxury cake jars — bringing the same unforgettable flavor, passion, and quality that built Athana’s Cakery straight to homes nationwide.
